44% Malbec | 39% Cabernet Sauvignon | 18% Petit Verdot

A Malbec dominant blend with Cabernet Sauvignon providing structure and Petit Verdot adding lift, this wine bursts with aromas of cassis and crushed violets. Sweetened spices and mulberries are complemented by more savoury notes of cedar and mocha from maturation in the finest selection of French oak barriques. The palate is voluminous yet focussed with a ripe frame of fine tannins giving length to this deliciously fragrant wine. 

Nose: Sweetened spices and mulberries with notes of cedar and mocha.

Palate: Voluminous yet focused, fine tannins with scents of graphite, dried tobacco, black olive, lilac and currant.

Mid-weighted of feel and immensely savory, beaming scents of graphite, dried tobacco, black olive, lilac and currant along a barrel of sage-doused tannins, a glint of precision and class from attack to the long finish A complex wine with a considerable future ahead of it. Best the next day and the one after that given a bit of youthful inscrutability. Super value, too. Drinkable now, but best from 2025.”
